Description:

Using a photograph supplied to me by the client of her daughter’s bedroom, I designed this piece to match the pattern of butterflies on the comforter. The total number of pieces (not including the frame and wood backing) is a whopping 94. I completely underestimated the time required to meticulously cut all of these pieces out, but I feel a sense of gratification now that it’s done. I’m hoping this piece will make my client’s daughter smile for years to come.
